War merit cross with swords 1st class – L/18 Petz & Lorenz, Unterreichenbach. Very rare tombac construction ‘Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwertern’ produced by P&L with their typical setup and later sold to Mayer and marked with their LDO L/18 mark. Remains in lightly worn condition and got a clean on both sides some time ago.
