Repeat clasp 1st class grouping from the woodwork

1,950.00

Repeat clasp 1st class grouping from the woodwork. Amazing grouping recently found in Germany with a Major that was awarded the Ek2 + Ek1 1914, Ek1 + Ek2 1939 (repeat clasps), all three grades of the wound badge and KVK2 + KVk1. For a soldier to have gotten all these awards in one life time, shows an amazing military career from the 1st half of the 20th century. The grouping belonged to Otto Franz of the 216th infantry division and consists of the following:
1. His 6 piece ribbon bar with Ek2 1912 + repat clasp attachment, Kvk2 with swords, ost medal, FEK, Loyal service medal heer and 40 year TDA medal with with attachment. Clearly the same ribbon bar as worn on the small portrait.
2. His wound badge in gold unmarked 30 Hauptmünzamt tombac.
3. KVK2 maker marked 62 under the pin for Kerbach & Oesterhalt.
4. Iron cross repeat clasp 1st class B.H. Mayer which can be seen on the picture nicely as a Mayer type
5. His Ek1 1914 which is unmistakably the same one as in the picture judging from the wear and design.
6. Many pictures from WW1, WW2 and some from after the war as well.
7. Military Drivers license
8. A few post war ID papers
9. Interesting postcard from the 216th infantry division with all the places they fought in 1939-1940, including the Netherlands Maasübergang.
10. 2 maps
11. All his denazification paperwork and files in a big map(lots of paperwork, some with information about his pre life), he was a party member from 1933 and with SA.

Killer group with clearly the same awards in wear on the small portrait.
