Luftwaffe Pilot-Observer badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early war tombac construction eagle with silver plated finish and frosting on top and silver plated wreath with gilding on top. Remains in unworn or very lightly worn condition and shows a mint eagle with full frosting. The wreath was lightly rubbed at some point and is missing some of the very fragile gold finish that didn`t hold well on the silver plated surface. Most likely cleaned a bit due to the typical dark spots developing on the wreaths of these Assmanns. Uncommon and sought after A2 variant with a killer look!
