Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Zinc construction Fallschirmjäger badge with gilded eagle and ‘Injection mold’ produced wreath(die 1). The badge remains in lightly worn condition with nearly perfect gold finish on the eagle and typical dark looking wreath. Rivets remain tight and in tact with the setup integeral setup nicely preserved. Seems a bit cleaned or worn on the 4 brighter looking areas on the reverse. One of the better looking late war Assmann we have encountered.
