Iron cross 1st class 1914 – B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim. WW2 era production of the 1914 “Eisernes Kreuz’ with Mayer design frame and setup. Remains in excellent condition with near perfect semi gloss black lacquer core and very nice frosting remaining on both the front and reverse. Only shows a slight patina. Top and more uncommon Mayer cross.
