German cross in gold Dr. Anton Schwarz (LW-Meteorologe) + Flugbuch (318 flights). Interesting and very uncommon single large size ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Gold’ award document to Regierungsrat Anton Schwarz who served as a Luftwaffe meteorologist near the black sea and was awarded the DKIG on 12.12.1943 as Reg.Rat., Wetterflugstelle Schwarzes Meer. Also present is his ‘Flugbuch’ with 318 flights including many with Ju52, Ju 88, HE 111 and Bf 108. Remains in very good condition with some light wear near the corners. Very uncommon unit to see the DKIG in gold for, especially with all the flights included that earned him this award.
