Wound badge in black award document to Obergefreiter Ernst Fuhlbrügge of the 9. Kompanie inf. Rgt, 257. Later this unit became Grenadier Regiment 257(part of the 83 Inf Division). The document was faulted ones but remains in good condition and was singed by commander(Captain in this case) of the Battalion. The unit was attached to 6 Armee when fighting in France in 1940. In 1942 they were attached to the 3th Panzer army(army group center) on the eastern front. Ending up in Kurland and Westpreussen in late 44 and early 45.
