The Third Reich in Ink – Jelle Meul

100.00

We are very pleased to annonce the new book “The Third Reich in Ink” written bij my friend Jelle Meul. Explained with photographs, signatures and important documents of 80 individuals that shaped the Third Reich. A book that has taken over 5 years to write and I have seen my friend Jelle work on tirelessly with the most amazing passion. The format in which the books layout is made comes from our mutual friend and writer Sébastien Talbot(Luftwaffe awards).
Below a short summary in his own words.

The Third Reich in Ink: Political Autographs by Jelle Meul is a definitive, large-format historical work on the autographs and inner world of the NSDAP leadership and its wider political environment. The book is a comprehensive and authoritative exploration of the handwritten legacy of these people. Through original signed photographs, letters, documents, identity papers and more, this book offers a rare and deeply human perspective on one of the darkest chapters in modern history. Across 80 in-depth biographies, the book examines the lives, crimes and political careers of the most powerful figures of Nazi Germany, alongside Axis allies and key personalities from the Weimar period. Their stories are told through authentic handwritten material, allowing readers to encounter history directly through the ink of those who shaped it.
This is not only a book for autograph collectors, but a fully accessible and compelling work for anyone with a passion for history. Rich narrative context, critical analysis and important Holocaust testimonies provide moral weight and historical depth far beyond a traditional reference volume. With more than 500 high-quality images, every document is accompanied by clear, thorough historical commentary. In addition to leading figures, the book includes signed material from political aides, wives, mistresses, and close associates.
The narrative spans from the aftermath of the First World War to the Nuremberg Trials, documenting the ultimate fate of those who survived the collapse of the regime. Most biographies range from 6 to 8 pages, while key figures receive extended treatment.
