Stahlhelmbund Theordor Duesterberg with signature

Postcard size portrait placed on large A4 size carton backing with Theordor Duesterberg and signature. Very interesting leading figure from the early days of the Stahlhelmbund. Deusterberg joined the DNVP in 1919 and was well known for his anti-semitic views within the Stahlhelmbund. He was nominated to run for president in 1932 but shortly after members of NSDAP found out about his Prussian Jewish history and he resigned shortly after. Rare signature that dates form 1931 and remains in excellent condition.
