Small estate with Wehrpass 4./Inf. Rgt. 287

Small award document + Wehrpass estate to Unteroffizier Künnecke. The lot consists of his Ek1, WB in black, IAB award documents and his Wehrpass, As well as the Auszug for the IAB and a birth certificate. in well used condition. All documents remain in worn condition with the thin IAB document have some some tears over the fault lines. The Wehrpass has the Ek2, WBB, IAB and Ek listed as well as the full unit history from 1939 till the surrender in 1945. The Inf regiment 287 was attached to the 96th inf division that fought all over Russia. This unit started in the Nord towards leningrad and ended the war with heeresgruppe south after being transferred to the Ukraine earlier in 1944. They pulled all the way back to the Vienna area after which they surrendered to the US troops.
The Wehrpass holds a lot of info about fought battles and the area of operations, the ‘Aktiver Wehrdienst’ is fully filled out, so that they had to continue on the extra pages at the end of the Wehrpass.
