Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Black Zinc wreath with riveted Gilded zinc eagle. Minimally worn condition with nearly all the gilding still present, good dark look to the wreath. Rivets are still tight and the badge is the exact textbook example shown on page 336 in the Thomas Durante paratrooper badge book. Type B with variant catch, nicely marked with the short Meybauer ‘PM’ logo.
