Luftwaffe ROAG badge (J4) – C.E. Juncker, Berlin

Radio operator air gunner badge + case – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Mid war transitional Luftwaffe ROAG with tombac eagle and silver plated zinc wreath. Known as the J4 variant with tombac eagle, marked on the back with the later variant makers mark C.E. Juncker Berlin SW68. Remains in lightly worn condition with nearly all high quality silver plating still present and tight rivets. There is a slight spot on the center of the swastika, besides that all finish has remained on the wreath. The matching(also used by other makers) j3/j4 case remains in slightly used condition, with some grey spots on the edges and corners. The lettering has retained its bright gold color nicely. The paper covering the hinge shows some cracks from usage but has not come of. Inlay can be taken out, but fits perfectly when pressed down. \
One of the more uncommon Juncker ROAG variants in very good condition.
