Luftwaffe pilots badge – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war ‘Fleugzeugführerabzeichen’ with GWL makers mark on the back of the eagle. Nickel silver eagle, tombac wreath with silver plating and typical GWL style rivets. Slightly vaulted appearance and remains in worn condition. Shows a light patina with a good amount of the top frosting worn down. Quality heavy pilots badge with great appeal.
