Luftwaffe pilot badge – Berg & Notle, Lüdenscheid. Early to mid war tombac ‘Flugzeugführer’ with silver plated finish and burnished eagle. Remains in faily salty condition with reddish tombac on the swastika and parts of the wreath. Overall it retained the silver plating very well and shows a dark patina. Well worn pilots badge that saw some action, maker marked B&NL on the reverse.
