Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – IMME & Sohn, Berlin. Early war tombac gilded eagle riveted to a nickel silver wreath. So called full IMME design with IMME wreath and eagle, this being a Type B with Fletched wing, flawed wing gap and cut tail ridge. Remains in nicely worn condition with some of the gilding worn down and a light patina on the wreath. The catch is slightly closed.
Very uncommon and very well made ‘Fallschirmschützenabzeichen’ in untouched condition. Top badge!
