Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Berlin

Luftwaffe paratrooper badge – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Berlin. Two piece construction ‘Fallschirmjägerschützenabzeichen’ with tombac eagle and wreath with integral setup. Remains in lightly worn condition and still shows a bright silver finish on the wreath. Maker marked GWL on the back of eagle and among the more uncommon variants. Extremely fine example with great gilding on the eagle.
