Luftwaffe observer badge – Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid. Early tombac ‘Beobachterabzeichen’ with burnished eagle and silver plated wreath. Remains in extremely well preserved condition with all the burnishing on the Assmann marked eagle in tact. Wreath shows all the plating still present on the front and some light fading of the top frosting on the reverse. Rivets are still tight. Excellent Assmann example that would be difficult to upgrade!
