Luftwaffe ground assault badge + case – Gebrüder Wegerhoff, Lüdenscheid. Zinc Erdkampfabzeichen with GWL design and makers mark on the back. Remains in very good condition with most of the fragile finish still present on the badge. Rivited eagle and integral setup are still fully intact. Comes with matching and extremely difficult to find GWL case that reads Erdkampf-Abz on top. Remains in excellent condition with a still bright and clean looking light blue inside. Typical FLL/GWL style case that was used for a number of Luftwaffe awards by these makers. However the Erdkampf case is the rarest of all Luftwaffe cases and is only rarely available. Top example in extremely well preserved condition, true premium!
