Luftwaffe Combined Pilot-Observer badge A1 – Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid. Very early pre war ‘gemeinsames Flugzeugführer- und Beobachterabzeichen’ with thin tombac silver plated eagle eagle finish with frosting and gilded thin wreath with Assmann mark. Remains in nicely worn condition with some of the finish worn down and very appealing character. Shows a replaced pin which was most likely replaced very long ago, magnetic and shows some old rust, however it should have been the correct nickel silver wire pin. One of the rarest PO variants out there and normally doesn`t appear more then ones or twice a year if any at all. Top rarity even with the repaired pin and for a very good price compared to a unrepaired example.
