Early Tombac badge with later variant hinge and dish back reverse. Remains in lightly worn to unworn condition and still shows a bright silver eagle which was hand finished with a frosting to make it pop out in contrast to the wreath and ship. High quality badge by one of the best KM awards makers.
This example being cased and having a later version of the blue in lay. Normally found with the larger miniature stickpin, however sometimes the smaller one was included instead. The case remains in damage free condition, and shows a good deep blue color. Not much wear and the inlay retained the original light blue color perfectly.
