Iron cross first class – L/50 Gebrüder Godet & co, Berlin. Three piece construction Ek1 with mat black finished core and slightly vaulted appearance. Remains in well worn condition and some rust on the core, mainly the swastika. The back shows a good patina through out and the cross is marked L/50 under the catch. Sought after L/50 marked Zimmermann/Godet cross.
