Iron cross first class – Gebrüder Godet & Co, Berlin. Early three piece construction ek1 without makers mark and typical Godet/Zimmermann frame. Remains in good worn condition with nice patina on the frame and some wear to the high quality glossy lacquer associated with the Godet production rather than Zimmermann. Sought after cross with a very esthetic looking frame, slightly vaulted and named at the back.
Reads something like Cobnem or Cobhem.
