Iron cross first class – Deschler & Sohn, München. Heavy three piece construction cross with Deschler frame and core. Maker marked with the variant ‘micro L/10’ mark on the back of the pin. Remains in worn condition and lost the black finish on the swastika. Still shows some good frosting on the frame. More uncommon marked example that has become very difficult to find. For sure one of the best quality LDO crosses out there.
Interesting is that the mark was placed upside down on this example.
