Iron cross 2nd class – Frank & Reif, Stuttgart (Little brother). Early war cross with ‘Übergrosse’ frame and core attributed to Frank Reif. So called ‘Little brother’ variant with cut frame. This example featuring no cuts on the inner corners next to the swastika arms, showing the full details of the frame. Remains in perfect condition with no wear to the semi gloss core. Frame shows a slight and nicely distributed patina. Premium condition example of a sought after and uncommon cross.
