Iron cross 1st class – MM15 Friedrich Orth, Wien

Iron cross 1st class – MM15 Friedrich Orth, Wien. Three piece construction ‘Eisernes Kreuz’ with PkZ mark 15 on the pin, slightly vaulted appearance and brass core. Fully Orth produced piece in all parts and remains in worn condition with some of the matt black finish worn down on the core. Still shows good frosting on the back and has minimal patina on the front. Very good quality Orth and more uncommon Orth cross.
