Iron cross 1st class – L/59 Alois Rettenmaier, Schwäbisch-Gmünd. Mid war three piece construction cross with Rettenmaier LDO mark, core and frame. Remains in perfect mint condition with full matt black finish on the core and only a slight patina on the frame. Maker marked on the back plate. Uncommon and sought after cross.
