Infantry assault badge in silver – Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid. Early tombac badge with typical S&H design. The badge remains in well worn condition showing the tombac base material coming through. The silver finish that remains has developed a dark patina giving the badge more of a bronze look. Was treated with bit of vaseline at some point and features a period variant pin with nicely round sharpened tip.
