Infantry assault badge in silver – Rudolf Karneth, Gablonz. Late war semi hollow zinc example with ‘Glanzverzinkt’ finish. Remains in lightly worn condition and shows most of the original finish still present. The hinge and catch normally being crimped, this example having a factory repaired hinge with finish over the soldering indicating this indeed left the factory like this. Interesting example in good condition.
