Infantry assault badge in silver – L/56 Funke & Brünninghaus, Lüdenscheid. Mid to late heavy solid zinc IAB with LDO makers mark on the back for F&BL. Remains in unworn condition and shows the flat wire catch on base plate. Has all the finish remaining in faded condition, giving the badge a dark grey appearance. Pin closes tightly, but is better left open to remove the tension on the hinge and catch. Top example that faded into grey perfectly.
