Infantry assault badge in silver – hollow ‘Vienna design’

Infantry assault badge in silver – ‘Vienna design’. Early hollow zinc IAB with Vienna design. Remains in very good condition with all original finish still present and no wear. Shows a darkish patina on the reverse and typical zinc bubbling on the front. Rare IAB and the only known hollow Vienna design variant known. Extremely difficult to find such a well preserved example.
