Infantry assault badge in silver – Friedrich Orth, Wien. Mid to late war heavy solid zinc ‘Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’ with ‘Glanzverzinkt’ finish and factory polishing. Retains all the original finish and remains in unworn condition. Shows a good patina on the reverse and very minimal patina on the front. Has the FO makers mark under the hinge and trade mark sunken directly soldered catch. More uncommon badge especially this nicely preserved.
