Infantry assault badge in silver – C.E. Juncker, Berlin. Early war hollow zinc Juncker design ‘Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’ with copper coated surface and silver finish on top. Directly soldered hinge and Juncker catch on a small base plate, nicely sunken into the solder. Remains in lightly worn condition with nearly full covering of the zinc and barely any patina on the still silvered area`s. Very uncommon variant that is far more difficult to find in zinc than its earlier nickel silver variant.
