Infantry assault badge in bronze – Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart. Mid to late war semi-hollow zinc IAB with one of many Zimmermann setup variants. Was only lightly worn and has a good amount of the gold tone bronze finish still present. Uncommon and difficult to find bronze version.
Nicely maker marked under the hinge with the Zimmermann logo.
