Infantry assault badge in bronze – Pillow crimp “B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim”. Mid to late war zinc ‘Infanterie Sturmabzeichen’ with “Vienna design” and ‘pillow crimp’ setup. Remains in excellent near mint condition with nearly all the bronze finish remaining with full brightness. B.H. Mayer being the most likely maker for these based on L/18 marked badges with this setup and hoard finds done in the past. Top example that would be difficult to upgrade.
