German cross in silver – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim

German cross in silver – MM20 C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Mid to late war light weight cupal back plate ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Silber’. Remains in unworn condition and has the enamel inlay on the swastika in still perfect unscratched condition. Shows some of the silver finish on the front and back slightly darkened due to storage through out the years. Outer black finished rim shows the typical 11 O ` clock Zimmermann flaw that is seen on their later examples. Nicely maker marked 20 under the pin.
Far more uncommon than the gold examples.
