German cross in silver – Deschler & Sohn, München. Early unmarked pre PKZ 4 rivet Deschler ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Silber’ with tombac back plate and wreath. Remains in unworn and near perfect condition with a spotless swastika and still fully finished top wreath. The silver plating on the laurel wreath is still fully intact and has a light patina on the white backing of the enameled swastika. The earliest heavy 4 rivet version that is normally found marked 1, these examples must have been produced only shortly after the 6 rivet versions. Besides the light patina a perfect preserved example. Can`t go wrong with this premium silver example.
