German cross in silver – C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Heavy! Very early Deutches Kreuz in Silber with heavy Zimmermann without makers under the pin or catch. Remains in excellent condition with little wear to the swastika and wreath. The back shows a typical patina and the cross remains fully uncleaned. Very interesting early example with typical Zimmermann parts, directly soldered catch, light sign of the typical 11 0’clock flaw and different design on the date. This example was brought back by a British soldier and came from his bring back lot that had his ID tags present.
Most of the heavy early example DKiS are either Godet or Deschler. Extremely rare and high quality variant, true premium!
