German cross in gold Heer cloth – Hermann Schmuck & Cie. Green wool construction ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Gold’ with tombac gilded wreath and bullion hand embroidery. Remains in good worn condition with clear signs of being uniform removed. Shows light wear to the gilded wreath and edges, with minimal moth damage. Marked on the reverse of the backing paper with the SH stamp for Hermann Schmuck. Great worn example that comes with cellophane bag, for which I cannot confirm if it had the cross in there originally.
