Case for a wound badge in gold – B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim. Mid to late war case for the zinc gold wound badge with 26 makers mark. Remains in excellent condition with minimal wear and nicely impressed Mayer makers mark on the bottom. Very difficult to find case and the only type of case that had the impressed mark on the bottom.
