Army honor roll clasp cased – Otto Klein, Hanau. ‘Ehrenblattspange’ tombac construction with 4 tombac soldered thin prongs and gilded finish. Remains in mint unworn condition and still shows perfect gilding with polished highlights and the typical grey spots near the the swastika attachment points. Comes with matching late war paper hinge flap case. The case remains in excellent condition on both the inside and outside and shows the Klein mark in bottom left corner on the inlay. The paper hinge flap has separate and someone put a small piece of cloth here to keep both parts together. This small repair can be removed if wished so.
Very uncommon set that has become very difficult to find. The runner up award to the Knights cross and this type was awarded too 4556 members of both the Waffen-SS and Heer.
