Infantry assault badge in silver – Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen. Early solid tombac Wurster with silver plated finish. Remains in worn and ground dug condition, this being such a high quality award it retained the silver plated finish nicely and only oxidized at the worn down areas. The pin was replaced at some point in time and does not match the typical pins used by Wurster.
Still a very sought after and collectable badge.
