German cross in gold Heer cloth – Hermann Schmuck & Cie. Green wool construction ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Gold’ with tombac gilded wreath and bullion hand embroidery. Shows no wear to the gilded wreath and edges and no moth damage. Marked on the reverse of the backing paper with the SH stamp for Hermann Schmuck. Excellent example that has a pin attached to the reverse.
