Luftwaffe pilot badge – Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid. Early war two piece construction pilot badge with Assmann marked eagle and design. Remains in very good worn condition with still most of the finish on both the eagle and wreath remaining. Rivets are still in good shape and there is slight movement on the eagle, which is not uncommon for Assmann. More uncommon Assmann, harder to find than the B&NLs which share the Assmann design features. Nice example.
