Wound badge in gold – L/53 Hymmen & Co, Lüdenscheid. Early solid tombac wound badge with L/53 makers mark, steel pin and gilded finish. Remains in well worn condition with a good part of the gold missing on the front and the base material expose. The back shows most of the finish and faded finish on the soldered area, which not uncommon for L/53 WB. Very uncommon variant that does not come up for sale often.
