War merit cross first class without swords cased – J. Bauer & Söhne Zella-Mehlis. Early unmarked tombac Bauer KvK1 without swords. Silver plated example with white frosting on top and remains in worn condition. Shows a good part of the frosting still present and has appealing wear to the back and front. Quality early variant that is quite uncommon compared to most swordless war merit crosses. Comes with matching luxury case and shows light wear overall and a bit more on one of the corners, retained a clean inside and shows the kvk on top.
Very nice and difficult to find worn UM43 set.
