U-boat badge – Petz Lorenz, Unterreichenbach. Early tombac badge with silver plating and gold tone finish on top. The badge remains in well worn condition and shows the tombac coming through on the front. Due to the wear some of the gold tone has worn off, making it appear more silver. Typical Petz Lorenz setup and known production by Petz Lorenz. The badge had green residue on the bottom right and left, I gave it a cotton wipe to get it removed. overall a nicely worn U-boot Abzeichen from a very difficult to find maker. Not damaged or repaired.
