Spanish cross in silver – L/13 Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Early war LDO example with L/13 makers mark for Paul Meybauer and their well known setup. Remains in well worn condition with some of the thick silver plating worn down to the base tombac material. Has some of the corners slightly bent inwards in such a way that it seems it was done on purpose to give the cross a little more flare or slightly dull out the sharp corners. Rarely does a Spanish cross come with so much character, truly field worn Spanienkreuz in Silber.
