SA Sports badge for war wounded – Deschler & Sohn, München. Early hollow, Deschler die, tombac ‘SA-sports badge für Kriegsversteherte’ with very untypical silver finish and early Ek1 Deschler setup. Remains in good condition with signs of wear to the front and a good silver patina. Normally only found in bronze and from a steel construction when found as a hollow late example. This piece is a bit of a mystery as there was no silver and it could be either a porotype or produced under the assumption there would be another grade like with the normal sport badges. Extremely rare example of one of the most esthetic looking Third Reich awards.
