Panzer assault badge in silver – ‘Vienna design – scooped flatback’

Panzer assault badge in silver – ‘Vienna design – Rocky’. Mid to late war zinc PAB with good quality silver/chrome like plated finish. Remains in perfect condition on the front and shows no signs of wear. The same can be said about the back, the pin shows no sign of usage and the finish has remained almost perfectly. The badge shows very light zinc bubbling.
Uncommon PAB in exceptional condition. The maker of this badge is still unknown but has been named ‘scooped Flatback’ due to its lightly scooped shape at the back.
