LW ground assault badge – Gustav Brehmer, Markneukrichen

Luftwaffe ground assault badge – Gustav Brehmer, Markneukrichen. Zinc Erdkampfabzeichen for Luftwaffe personal fighting on the front lines. The badge is nicely worn and higher laying soldered on eagle shows this very well. The silver finished wreath and back has faded and only traces of finish remain. A very common occurrence with this type of silver wash that is also found on other badges produced by G.B. The badge is nicely marked with the Brehmer initials and has no damage or repairs.
